Cytech was incorporated under the laws of Bermuda on 9 June 2000. The Group commenced business with the establishment of Guangzhou Yitian Huatong Technology Corporation Ltd. (formerly known as Guangzhou Huatong System Engineering Crop Ltd.) since January 1993.
Throughout the years, Cytech has developed various proprietary standardized software such as the "Huatong Finance and Accounting Software", "Huatong Housing Sale Software", and the "Huatong Trade System Software". These software are all specially designed to suit different local business practices and complying fully with the regulations of China
The Company is an investment holding company. Its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the provision of computer consultancy services, and the design, development and sale of computer software and systems in China.
On 21 September 2001, the Group acquired 39 percent shareholding of Twyla Services Limited, which has been listed as Golding Soft Limited (“Golding”) on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in February 2002. Golding’s main business operation is software outsourcing, which is believed to be one of the fastest growing industries in the software market.
In April 2003, the Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Wide Choice International Limited acquired 51 percent equity interest in the registered capital of South Talent Information Business Co Ltd, a limited liability company in China ("South Talent") which is principally engaged in the development of software and hardware system integration, installation of software and provision of consultancy services. In October 2003, the Group has also acquired 44.44 percent of the issued capital of All Master Finance Limited.
