The Lexicon Group Limited
(formerly:Sun Business Network Ltd)

Picture
BACKGROUNDPanpac Media was incorporated in Singapore in October 1994 with an initial 8 member team. It ventured into Malaysia in 1995. Within 4 years, it grew to become a leading home-grown publisher of niche magazines with activities in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Panpac Media was listed on the second board of the SGX-ST on 29 July 1998. In 1999, it expanded into the Internet realm with AsiaStockWatch and ZingAsia. The bursting of the Internet ‘bubble’ resulted in investment losses and the closure of the online ventures.

The key to Panpac Media’s success lies in its ability to identify niche segments in Asia's fastest growing industries such as education, IT, finance and tourism. Today, Panpac Media publishes more than 30 titles in three different languages in Singapore and Malaysia. The company has recently gone through a repositioning and aims to build itself as a leading regional media, education and marketing communications company within the next three to five years.

As at 7 February 2005, Panpac Media Group Limited is effectively renamed "Sun Business Network Ltd."
The Group changed its name to The Lexicon Group Limited officially on 19 June 2007. With effect from 25 June 2007, the Group will trade under its new name.
