Changjiang Fertilizer Holdings Limited is a small-and-medium size coal-based producers of nitrogenous fertilizer in Hunan Province, China. Its key products are nitrogenous fertilizer, ammonia (comprising liquid ammonia and ammonia solution), and methanol.
The Group sells its products mainly to distributors in Hunan, who in turn, sell to their customers in provinces like Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi and Jiangxi. Its nitrogenous fertilizer is mainly used by the farmers to grow crops such as paddy rice. Its ammonia products, namely liquid ammonia and ammonia solution, are used mainly by other fertilizer companies to produce urea and other fertilizers, and is also used by medical companies as raw materials in
producing medicine, and other chemical companies to produce industrial chemical products. Its methanol is used mainly by manufacturers of methanol downstream products located in Hunan Province, China.

BACKGROUNDThe Company was incorporated on 17 July 2006 under the name of Xin Lian Xin Holdings Pte. Ltd. It changed its name to China XLX Fertiliser Pte Ltd on 22 February 2007 and subsequently to China XLX Fertiliser Ltd on 11 May 2007,
It is a coal-based producer of urea and compound fertiliser in Henan. Besides urea and compound fertiliser, it also produces methanol.
Its annual production capacity for compound fertiliser is 300,000 tons. Both production plants are located at Xinxiang High-advanced Technology Development West Zone, which is served by a comprehensive network of railway lines and highways.
